Day 7: Bremen, Germany

Today was going to be a relaxing day. We were going to take a short stroll through town, stuff our faces, and then relax. Bremen, however, caught us completely by surprise. As soon as we entered the city center, we became enamoured with all of the sights. No words or pictures can do justice to St. Petri Dom Bremen church (but clearly we tried with a photo below). We climbed 265 steps up a tiny spiralled staircase to view the city from the church steeple.

We would be remiss if we didn't mention the Bremen Town Musicians statue, based off of another Grimm fairy tale. Also, the 'Muhle am Wall' - the last mill left in Bremen that was working until 1950.

Lastly, in the home of Beck's brewery, I tried three different varieties of Beck's beer - very refreshing.

It has quickly become one of our favorite cities!
