Day 13: Prague, Czech Republic

Today was an awe-inspiring and full-of-history day. We toured the Jewish District with multiple synagogues, including one that listed out the names of all the WWII victims from the Czech Republic on the walls. The small print lined the walls and tugged at the heart.

We then saw the infamous, and rightly so, Prague Castle. Its stunning St. Vitus Cathedral housed impressive stained glass windows, with the music of the organ echoing off the stone walls.

We closed with the Lobkowicz Palace, which features the family's extensive collection, including beautiful artwork from artists such as Velasquez and Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Most impressively, their museum housed original Beethoven scores and a score edited by Mozart. Truly magnificent to behold!
