Day 4: Hanau, Gelnhausen, Steinau an der Strasse (Germany)

Today's extravaganza included trips to three neighbouring cities active in the life of the Grimm brothers (Hanau, Gelnhausen, Steinau).

We have put in over six hours of legwork and I'm craving a massive cheese and onion crepe - Chris wants ham.

In the picturesque town of Steinau, I had a hankering for bier in a local pub. Local: 100%. Awkward when we tiny females busted through the door enthusiastically? Yes. We were clearly the only ones who didn't frequent this pub on a daily (hourly?) basis. Nonetheless, great service and good beer. I'm a hops fan, so it will take awhile for me to grant a pilsner high marks... :)
